A Level Campus
RULES & REGULATIONS
The demands of the A Level programme are rigorous and extensive. Therefore, reading and work outside classes is required. Following are some guidelines we wish to share with you.
- In A1, students are required to take a minimum of four principle subjects, one of which may be dropped at the end of A1, subject to approval from the administration.
- Students are required to be in school by 8:00am sharp, except on Monday, when assembly is held at 7:30am. The students are required to attend assembly. Latecomers will be fined, and the fine will be included in the student’s fee bill. Students may leave campus after 12:00 noon, provided they do not have a class afterwards.
- Students are not permitted to leave the school premises during a free period, or leave early unless application has been submitted and approved by the principal. Leave applications have to be signed by either of the parents or the guardians.
- Punctuality is essential. Students coming more than three minutes late will not be allowed to enter the class and will be marked absent by the subject teacher.
- The attendance requirement for the students is 90% in all subjects taken. Less than 90% attendance may result in the student not being sent up as a regular candidate in the final GCE A level examination.
- The students must take their written assignments seriously and submit them on time. A non-serious approach and poor grades in these assignments can affect the student’s grades in the midterm and final internal examinations. Internal examination grades, along with expected A Level grades, are sent to the university to which a student applies for admission. Below par performance can result in denial of admission when applying to universities in Pakistan and abroad.
- If a student is not in proper school uniform or does not have a proper haircut, he will be fined, and the fine will be added to his fee bill.
- Biometric attendance has to be marked every day; failing which the student will be considered absent from school.
- Students who leave the school before completing their A1 will not be issued a transcript from the institution
